MixCare Supports HKBN to Promote Employee Wellbeing Through its Digital Health Platform

Hong Kong, 31 January 2024 — MixCare Health today announced that HKBN Group (“HKBN”), the leading integrated telecommunications and technology services provider, has become the latest major Hong Kong employer to access MixCare’s digital health and wellness platform, one of Asia’s fastest-growing wellbeing ecosystems.

Under the collaboration, HKBN Talents have access to more than 4,000 individual health and wellness services offered through MixCare’s white-labelled, API-enabled portal and app, enabling them to enjoy benefits such as fitness or yoga classes and prescription eyeglasses, discounts on services such as health checks, or one-time offers such as HK$1 air purifiers.

From inception to launch, MixCare was able to deliver access to the platform in less than one month.

By providing access to an unparalleled ecosystem of health and wellness services, MixCare helps corporates to improve employee engagement and retention, and drives better policyholder experience for insurers. In just three years, the MixCare platform has grown to serve a potential audience of more 100,000 end-users via 25 clients and partners. Companies that MixCare has worked with include major Hong Kong employers such as PwC, HKBN and Manpower, and insurers and brokers including China Life, AXA, Chubb Life, OneDegree and Blue.

Alex Wong, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of MixCare, said: “At MixCare, our purpose is to provide people in Asia with simple, fast access to all of the health and wellness services they need to live a better, healthier life. We are seeing increasing demand for the platform from HKBN and other companies who wish to ensure that their valued employees feel supported and cared for, and we are looking forward to rolling out our offering into other Asian markets such as Thailand and Malaysia.”

Adele Chu, HKBN’s Co-Owner and Director of Talent Engagement, said: “As an ICT company that’s Talent-obsessed, we’re always evolving to make HKBN a better place for our Talents through innovative ways – and this time we’ve leveraged the MixCare Health digital platform to redefine the way we embrace and deliver wellness holistically.

“With its ease-of-use simplicity, MixCare will encourage our Talents to enjoy a wider array of wellness benefits and activities, and live healthier – which are all win-wins for HKBN.”

The MixCare SaaS platform is made up of a comprehensive and modular suite of products that work seamlessly together. The Artificial Intelligence-powered platform facilitates better-informed health and wellness recommendations by leveraging advanced analytics.

The platform covers seven key pillars of health and wellness: medical, fitness, diet, mental health, beauty, sleep and women’s health, which was added in late 2023. It allows thousands of new health and wellbeing services to be added each year, providing employees or policyholders with as many options as possible.
